BBC care for Amur tiger

People from all over the world follow the fate of rare Amur tiger. This week the BBC Russia’s well-known  DJ Seva Novgorodtsev called the office of Phoenix Fund to ask Sergei Bereznuk some questions about the current state of tiger population in Primorye and the attempts the NGOs undertake to protect it.

This is not the first time the famous British broadcasting corporation got concerned about Amur tiger’s fate. The news, reporting on the life of a striped predator in the Ussuriiskaya taiga and celebrations in its honor, such as Tiger Day in Vladivostok, appear on the BBC air at times.
